I’ve been to Tofino half a dozen times, and Rick is the guide I go with EVERY TIME! Fun to hang out on a boat with, we often see porpoises or whales, and most importantly, he puts us on the fish! If you’re looking for a great day of fishing on the Pacific Coast, don’t hesitate, get Biggar Fish!

My wife and I had a fantastic time. We stayed in Tofino for a week to celebrate our twentieth anniversary and spent one of our days out with Rick from Biggar charters, we could not stop talking about it. Rick never stopped working on putting us on fish the whole time we were out there. He knows what he is doing and it showed. Thank you Rick for getting me my first halibut 37lbs and the rest of the fish.

Exceptional experience!
The experience was exceptional, I have been on charters before and I can tell a good operator when I see one. The boat was spotless and the gear was first class. My family had never been on the ocean before and my wife does not like boats, within 15 minutes she was comfortable and ready to fish. The kids loved it, and caught lots. The fishing trip was the highlight of our time in Tofino. Rick is very knowledgeable, an entertaining and experienced guide. We had such great time that now I want to go fishing all the time! I would like to thank Rick Biggar of Biggars Fishing Charter for an excellent fishing vacation a couple of weeks back. Kris,Wilma,Dave and I had an awesome time slaying the fish off of Tofino thanks to Rick’s enthusiasm, knowledge and determination to give us a great vacation. Rick was a great guide, host and storyteller and we probably enjoyed his company more than catching fish, he truly loves what he does and it shows. We have been to Tofino to fish for salmon on two occasions. Both times using Biggar Fish Charters with Rick Biggar. Rick is a fabulous guide and very knowledgeable . He knows the waters around Tofino and the good spots to fish. We have always come back to dock with plenty of salmon. Rick’s wit and charm make the day fishing most enjoyable , especially when you reel in the “Big One”. We plan to visit Tofino again in the near future and will definitely be giving Rick Biggar a call.
